2pcs TMB2LTX addded into OSN1800 Chassis, failed, what is the problem?

Issue description

Cannot add 2 boards LTX in Huawei OSN 1800 II TP. NO_BD_POWER Alarm has occurred

[What Occurred]: Cannot add 2 boards TMB2LTX in Huawei OSN1800 II TP

[How Occurred]: 2nd board LTX cannot power on. NO_BD_POWER, SHELF_AREA_POWER_OVER alarm has occurs

[Impacts]: N/A (new equipment)

[What have done]: Switch board, Plug unplug, Switch slot, Setting power in PIU

Handling Process

1.firstly, customer found B2LTX unable to online in slot 2.

2.checked the alarm found NO_BD_POWER and SHELF_AREA_POWER_OVER

3.Checked via navigator found the total NE power consumption is exceed threshold > 400W. the total board installed already exceed threshold. Thus, the alarm is reported.

4. before change need to check the requirement of set to maximum NE power consumption.

the pdu type must use TN11PDU04

Root cause

total board install in this NE has exceeds the NE power. As a result, slot 2 board unable to power on

Solution

Default NE consumption of this device, 1800 II TP is 400W. after change it to 800W, the board able to online and alarm is cleared.

here is to change NE power consumption by navigator
