Problem Description

there are packets drops on end switch which connect with WDM device OSN8800 T32.

Problem Analysis

1. Checking the RMON performance and find current port usage is34.95%, which is reached the bandwidth of this port (3 timeslot ODUflex)

2. After checking the cross-connection and find there is no rest timeslot on the line board slot 8 TN59NS4.

Root Cause

The traffic received reached bandwidth (1.25*3G) and so that the package will be lost.

 

Solution Description

1. Suggest customer adjust the bandwidth on IP device side.

2. Suggest customer create another 10GE LAN service with adequate bandwidth and then migrate the service.
